CHECK ME BOO

Privacy Policy

Last updated 12 October 2026

This policy describes how Check Me Boo handles information when you browse, sign in, rate or take part in the community. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to contact@checkmeboo.com.

Before you make it yours.

We use your first name, last name, email address and username to create your account. Supabase securely handles your password and sends a one-time verification code to your email. Check Me Boo saves your profile details and the ratings you submit.

We use these details to save your preferences and ratings, calculate rankings, publish updates, host comments and answer support requests. Blog posts and comments can be read by anyone who can view the site. Your display name and chosen icon accompany your comments; support conversations are available to you and the team. Your email is not shown in public.

This version has no advertising or analytics integrations configured and does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Account records remain until you update them or delete your site account. See our Privacy Policy for browser storage, service providers, retention and privacy requests.

Information and why we use it

Sign-up: we collect your first name, last name, email address and username. Supabase securely handles your password and sends a one-time email verification code. Your email is not displayed in community conversations.

Profile and ratings: we save your username, first and last name, a preselected Housewife avatar, your current rating for each subject and the time it was saved. These details personalise your account and let us calculate aggregate scores and rankings. We do not accept personal photo uploads.

Posts and conversations: we save published Blog updates, comments on Blog posts and podcast episodes, and their times, plus support subjects, messages and times. This lets the editor publish updates, readers discuss them and the support team answer requests. Records from the former member chat remain associated with their authors until account deletion. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your email.

Browser preferences: the player keeps its expanded or minimised state in session storage. These preferences stay in your browser. Sign-in and hosting services also use their own session and security mechanisms.

Contact form: whether or not you sign in, we save your name, reply email, subject, message and submission time in a private team inbox. Signed-in requests are associated with your account. We use a pseudonymous network key when available and your email to limit repeated submissions; raw network addresses are not saved in the application database. Network keys on requests older than 24 hours are cleared when another contact request is submitted.

What other people can see

Anyone who can view the site can read published Blog updates and Blog or episode comments, with the author's display name and chosen icon. Ratings affect the public aggregate rankings; the site does not publish a named list of individual fans’ votes. Private support conversations are available to the account that opened them and the support team. Former member chat records are no longer displayed on the Blog.

Think carefully before posting personal information in comments. Account deletion cannot remove copies another person has independently made, such as a screenshot.

Services and outside links

We use Supabase email sign-in, database services and the site's hosting platform to authenticate accounts, serve this website and store its records. The providers process information needed to run, secure and maintain their services; their own privacy policies apply to their independent processing.

Links to Bravo, estimate sources and social sites take you to other services. Their privacy practices apply when you visit them. This version does not embed advertising networks or analytics tools.

Tracking choices

The Check Me Boo application does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and has no advertising or analytics trackers configured. The application does not track your activity across unrelated websites; independent provider processing is described in their policies.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change this version’s site behaviour because it has no such sale, advertising sharing or cross-site tracking to switch off. Provider-managed sign-in and security functions continue to operate.

Keeping and deleting information

Profile details and current ratings remain in the active site database while your account is in use. A replacement rating overwrites your previous rating for that subject.

You can edit your profile, update your ratings or use Account → Manage → Delete account. After confirmation, deletion removes your Check Me Boo profile and saved ratings from the active site database. Other account features are described here when they become available.

Deleting a Check Me Boo account does not delete your email account. Provider-managed security records or backups may have different retention processes. For questions about records outside the active site database, contact us.

Contact forms sent without signing in remain in the private team inbox until you ask us to delete them. To request a copy, correction or deletion, email contact@checkmeboo.com from the reply address used on the form. We verify the request before changing private records.

Your privacy requests

To ask what site information is held about you, request a copy, correct information or request deletion, email contact@checkmeboo.com. We may ask you to verify that the request concerns your account before disclosing or changing private records. Please do not send a password or identity document.

California residents may have additional rights under applicable law. We do not charge you or penalise you for making a privacy request. An authorised representative can contact the same email address with permission to act for you.

Policy changes

We will update this page and its date when our practices change. Material changes will also be highlighted on the site before a new use of your information begins.
